Travertine is a sedimentary continental limestone rock with a concretionary appearance, coarsely bedded, white when pure or tending to gray, yellow, red or brown depending on the impurities it contains. The rock is characterized by small, unevenly distributed cavities.
Our artisans have carved them by hand into simple, incomplete geometric curiosities, as a nod to the imperfection of the world.
