About
This is a matching, graduated pair of vintage solid brass lidded canisters crafted by the renowned Bronces Almazán in Spain. During the 1960s and 70s, these heavy, luxury pieces were imported to the US through high-end design houses like Sarreid Ltd.
The nesting cylinders feature striking, clean horizontal linear ribbing around the bodies and are crowned with beautifully turned, stepped lids topped with sculptural finials. The underside of each canister is proudly stamped with the authentic, incised Almazan crown hallmark. They boast an incredibly heavy, substantial weight and exhibit a gorgeous, reflective golden luster with an exquisite, authentic vintage patina. -
