Paloma And Co.
After years of sharing a penchant for French antiques and classic design (not to mention silk wrap dresses, pretty peony arrangements, and freshly popped bottles of Champagne) designers Paloma Contreras and Devon Liedtke combined their impeccable tastes and aligned joie de vivre and founded Paloma & Co in 2019. The Houston-based concept store sources timeless antiques and unique found objects from across the globe and spotlights emerging artists, unique vendors, and purposely curated products that tell a story as unique as their shoppers. Stop by the charming storefront to talk shop with Paloma and Devon! (Champagne, anyone?)
Paloma is an award-winning interior decorator, tastemaker, and design influencer who’s honed her distinct eye for style through a decade in the design industry and a lifetime of appreciating beauty in all of its various forms. She continues to develop a reputation for designing beautiful interiors in a broad range of styles that—like Paloma—are polished, refined, and effortless.
Paloma founded Paloma Contreras Design and has been featured in numerous publications and websites, including ELLE DECOR, Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Vogue, domino, Luxe, Traditional Home, Southern Living, the New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal. Paloma’s first book, Dream Design Live, was published by Abrams in 2018. Paloma partnered with Devon Liedtke and founded their concept store, Paloma & Co, in 2019.When Paloma isn’t working on the store or her clients' residential design projects, she’s traveling to beautiful destinations with her husband, Fabian, or walking her sweet cockapoo, Tate.
From playing in her grandmother’s jewelry box as a young girl to stopping to smell (and, occasionally, clip!) the roses on walks with her identical twin daughters, Devon has always celebrated the beautiful moments of every day.
The multifaceted design enthusiast originally garnered an accounting degree and practiced as a CPA. But Devon—who wasn’t above moving homes to make room for her growing dish collection—couldn’t ignore her passion for beautiful design, so she became a tabletop buyer before attending design school in Paris and London. After graduating, Devon worked for Paloma Contreras Design before co-founding Paloma &Co in 2019.
When she’s not styling the store or scouting the globe for unique products with Paloma, Devon is laughing at her husband Taylor’s jokes or wrangling her two tenacious identical twin toddlers who—much to Devon’s delight and chagrin—love playing in her jewelry box.
