Heather is an abstract artist who specializes in textural paintings, and artwork with form with almost 8 years of being a professional artist. She uses several different mediums to accomplish her one-of-a-kind pieces. She’s particularly drawn to the juxtaposition of antiques and vintage decor paired with modern artwork. In any art she creates her goal is to create interesting paintings that move your eye across the canvas to take in every little detail. Essian creates art that will take the viewer on a journey; one that tells a story both in the marks created, and the painting’s inspiration.
Her artwork has been collected privately and publicly across the U.S. Heather’s artwork has been featured in several print and online publications, as well as several home design TV shows, including the Magnolia Network. She resides in Fort Worth, TX with her husband, Jim, three young girls: Harper, Hollis, and Hadden, and their feisty Pyredoodle dog, Bo. -
